This b & b newly renovated really all it takes to be loved! Its central location makes it an excellent base for exploring the coast. The place is also cozy and clean but mostly managed in an exemplary manner by the owner. Ultimately, I recommend it to everyone wanting to stay in the area are looking for a hospitable and comfortable accommodation ... you will definitely not regret it! Good solution to stay on the Sorrento seafront, in a building from the early 1900s. Beautiful furniture from the time.
Spacious, bright room with high ceilings and a small balcony. But there is no sea view because there are trees.

Very nice hotel located in the centre of Salerno. There are 3 rooms with private toilettes and a common room for having breakfast. Rooms are cleaned every day, they are comfortable, small sized but they include all the services (TV, air conditioner, fridge). The staff is very kind (they pick us up at the train station) and you can rely on them for all your needs. There is the possibility to have breakfast at the hotel with an small extra fare.
Strongly recommended: spectacular apartment with wonderful views.
The apartment was enormous, with a huge central sitting room with couches and a large central table. It separated the bedroom from the bathroom and small kitchen with an espresso machine (although there's a sign saying "no cooking").
The apartment is on the top (8th) floor, but there's a lift to get up all but one set of stairs. That also gives the outside terrace fantastic views to the south and west, out over the waterfront and harbor, and back towards the duomo. The terrace has attractive plantings around the railings, and a hot tub, which the owners will fire up for an additional fee if you want.
The location is wonderful for sightseeing and food, being right on the edge of the old town. (I can recommend "Osteria del taglio" if you want some sophisticated dining.) Parking was less pleasant, but we were lucky, and found a spot right outside the bar on the corner where you have breakfast. (This was the only negative aspect: breakfast only included 1 coffee + 1 other item - e.g., a cornetto.) The bar also sells 1 hour scratch-off parking passes.
The owner is incredibly helpful - she came out to meet us, helped us park, gave us suggestions for places to go, and was able to answer every additional question we came up with.
Located in an ancient building in the historic center of Salerno, it is more a Guesthouse than a B&B, with its relative advantages and flaws. Beyond, of course, the bedroom, all the other rooms are in common use and shared with the owner (and her pets), so the accommodation is better suited to couples of foreign tourists, notoriously able to adapt and " to camp "in almost every condition, and more inclined to house sharing. Even the furnishings, which I don't know whether to define kitsch, are really very far from the Italian taste. Finally, since I read "for families" written here on Google, I feel instead of advising families against the structure for the reasons mentioned above, and also because it is located in a fairly noisy central building. In summer, then, it's very hot, no air conditioning (there are only a few useful fans). Ultimately: good for casual foreigners single persons, couples without children, bad for Italians travelers and for families.
We stayed here for almost a week and it was definitely one of the best parts of our visit to Salerno. Don't be fooled by its unassuming entrance in the quiet streets, Home47 has spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, a charming host, cleaning service, a delicious breakfast of cakes, fruit and buns every morning, and the option of a delicious homecooked dinner with wine for only €15. Very reasonably priced and short walk away from bus stops, restaurants, etc.

First of all, the reviews on this B&B are on point. Can't say enough about Francesco - he is an amazing host. From the initial communication to the check out he has been super helpful and went above and beyond to assist us with recommendations and logistics.
The location is perfect. You are truly in the heart of salerno, close to train station, ferry, restaurants and shopping. Could not really asked for a better one.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, we stayed in Ravello room and a room with a terrace, not sure what it was called, maybe Positano. That was the best room.
Breakfast was good, you can get fresh rolls with cold cuts and eggs. Great capuccino.
Overall, I would say this was an ideal place or us to stay because of the location and the host!
