Absolutely nothing like described, the building is a mess, completely under construction, no view at all. Owner's not there, the daughter had to check us in, had no idea what to do. Airconditioning not working. No service at all by the owners. Big disappointment!

The room was clean and welcoming.
The exterior of the building in the presentation images somewhat betrays the fact that the entire complex is undergoing renovation. The building that houses the rooms dates back to 1920 and was a beautiful palace. The refurbishment works have been at a standstill for several years and for this reason it seems to enter a construction site. The exterior is with scaffolding, even the view from the room passes through them.
The position is valid for the two piers and also for the restaurants.
With the covid, the self-managed breakfast in the room with little fresh product except juices and yoghurt, is not that great.
Housekeeping was not good not optimal.
My fiance and I had a great time! Starting from the great location, the owner was very kind! As for breakfast, they follow the covid rules, which not everyone does! We had a small problem with the room and the owner came right away to fix it, even offering us to change rooms if the problem didn't go away. You can see who puts passion into the work they do!
Beautiful B&B in the center of Salerno just a few meters from the seafront, with some rooms overlooking the main street from the historic center. Its rooms are dedicated to the greatest painters of the past and are equipped with the best comforts (wi-fi, Netflix). Breakfast is plentiful and can be booked among the various available. Courtesy, professionalism and kindness are the trademark of the owners. The ideal place to spend a few nights for those who want to visit the city, the Amalfi coast or the Cilento coast.
