Hosts were attentive, rooms were clean and had a nice balcony. Breakfast served was superb.
Me and my girlfriend stayed at the B&B Il Ritratto for approximately two weeks, in August 2017. I'll jump directly to the conclusion: it is our best stay among all !!!
Why so? Well, let me list the reasons:
1) position: Salerno is a good strategical point to discover the Amalfi Coast, being a transportation hub. Moreover, B&B Il Ritratto is located both near the city center and the train station, port and bus stops (Sita Sud). Also, worth mentioning is that the neighborhood is quiet;
2) B&B & room: everything is brand new and modern, decorated with very good style. The rooms are equipped with everything you might need during your stay and, of course, cleaned every single day. You can also use the b&b's kitchen, where you can find a fridge (stuffed with snacks, fruits and juices) and, of course, an Italian coffee machine;
3) breakfast: you can choose what kind of breakfast you prefer: continental style (with meat, cheese, bread, butter) or the typical Italian style (more sweet, with pastry and croissants). And yes, you guessed: you can mix them. Also, the coffee is really good;
4) staff: Guido and his lovely mother are excellent, friendly, hosts, giving great advice for the best use of your time during your stay about what places to visit and the best places to eat;
5) installazione: finally, yes, we can confirm the other reviews we've read before checking in: B&B Il Ritratto has very good sanitary installations :)

Congratulations to Guido and his mom breakfast assistant. Everything really nice, from the reception of guests to advice and information of any kind. Guido has its own well-tested protocol, which accompanies the guests for the duration of the stay, providing all the tools suitable for the visit and life of the city. Exceptional breakfast, from a 5-star hotel, where there really is everything, fruit, dried fruit, brioches, fresh croissants, yogurt, cereals, tea, herbal tea, coffee, milk, fruit juices, all really . Water and croissants even in the room always all included. Obviously central and convenient location easily to reach and with a little patience is also nearby parking.
Structure well furnished, new and with all the comforts, really nothing to complain, a stay , minimum effort maximum efficiency, that is excellent value for money.

The rooms are well furnished with bathrooms equipped with large showers..cleaning, tranquility and excellent breakfast ... you can breathe the love of guido for his work and his clients ... guido is also a great photographer and has transported the his passion for this artistic form even within his beloved structure ..
It helps you find all the possible solutions for your travels and accompanies you in solving your problems by meeting your needs ... if during your stay you are lucky enough to know the mother and the girl I drive, you can say you have tasted the icing placed on the cake
