Very nice hotel located in the centre of Salerno. There are 3 rooms with private toilettes and a common room for having breakfast. Rooms are cleaned every day, they are comfortable, small sized but they include all the services (TV, air conditioner, fridge). The staff is very kind (they pick us up at the train station) and you can rely on them for all your needs. There is the possibility to have breakfast at the hotel with an small extra fare.
Great hotel in the lovely Old Town of Salerno. The host is very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The room seems freshly renovated and looks modern and very clean and cared for.
Very nice place! It's well positioned, has nice rooms & views, but the area is very noisy at night.
In the bathroom: toilet without board, black moldy shower mat, clogged shower drain, torn shower towels, no shower caps, shower gel and shampoo, no hair dryer, corners of the floor with dirt, hair and hair. Armchair with fabric cover full of stains, corridor wall with a stain (mosquito after bite?), TV remote control not working. No disinfectant available in the facility.
We booked at this property and 10 minutes before arriving the hostess Anna moved us to another b & b of her friend (keeping us the same cost as hers) without giving us any explanation as to why. Arrived in Salerno It didn't help us to find the structure by not sending us the location; also after having booked and recommended the restaurant for the New Year's Eve dinner (at least the excellent one) he had assured us that he would have sent us the position via wa, instead he disappeared without telling us anything (he obviously would have thought that his income was now pocketed). Bad behavior towards guests!
Instead I must say that the b & b where he moved us turned out to be very valid the lovely hostess the name was B&B casa castagna: I recommend it!
