The condition of the building and the rooms and the pool and the hot tub were all excellent. The location is great as well. But I got this with credit card points. I can't see me spending this much money on a place if it was actual money. There's really no amenities other than the pool. There was absolutely no housekeeping services at all and even before covid all they did was come in and change out towels and toiletries. Now they drop them off for you when you call and say you need them. If I were to stay in this area again I would research it a little bit more and I'm sure I could find somewhere, a normal hotel say, with a bar and restaurant and daily housekeeping services for nowhere near the price we paid for this. The convenience of two bedrooms was nice and the temperature of the pool water was amazing. And again like I said it was new and clean and the location was great but I don't think it was worth the price.
We enjoyed the gulf side view. The rooms were nice. The property is pet friendly. There are two buildings, one is intercoastal/channel way the other is gulf/beach side.
Best time ever. So relaxing. The staff was awesome and very accommodating. Can't wait to book it for this year
The reason I give this place 5 star is because of great service, amazing location and the fact that the room is very well equipped. He is what we cared about:
1) In room washer and dryer (we came back with mostly clean laundry)
2) Full sized fridge with freezer, which we didn't take full advantage of because there are great places to eat within walking distance.
3) TV was good with easy access to connect and good wifi, wife had to work and was able to get good zoom quality.
4) right between the canal and the beach, I went running on the beach every day. The surf shop in walking distance and the paddleboard service are so close.
Things that could have made it better? if the kids rooms had bunk beds and there was a grill in the building. Pool is small but hot tub is great. The hot tub facing the sunset had issues with the jets. They are geared to full service, but they are still finding themselves with the limited service of COVID times.
We plan to come back again!
♀️This place is beautiful. The customer service is absolutely the best. The rooms are big, with everything you need to make your vacation perfect. The only downfall would be for parking if you have more than one car. The most amazing thing is that we were able to bring our furbaby. There are two hotels all with either a view of the bay or a view of the ocean. We chose the Bay View room so we could fish.
