Beginning with the negative: worst internet connection ever, don't expect to even check your mails reliably here...
Beds are too soft, garden and pool are quite small. Pool beds can not be flattened perfectly so it's very uncomfortable to lay on the belly.
Positive: very nice staff and rooms, clean and renovated, breakfast is good but don't expect a huge choice. Familiar atmosphere, not crowded.
I'd say too expensive, paid 145 Euro including breakfast / night for 2 pax.
Everything was superb. I can't find anything to complain about.
The owner was friendly and the house is located few minutes walking distance from beach. Every room has a terrace, kitchenette and A/C, plus spacious and very clean. It was very comfortable.
The Villa Marea is really great! The rooms were newly renovated and well furnished, the rooms were cleaned every day and the towels were changed. Outside there was a pool and a beautiful garden. You could borrow a lot of bikes, they were included. You can get fresh coffee all day at the counter at the reception. The staff was also super nice and friendly.

The hotel was clearly completely renovated recently.
The rooms and the entire hotel area are modern and very, very clean!
The staff are attentive and very accommodating.
There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the door. On request, you can also park your vehicle on the closed hotel premises.
Should we come back to Rovinj we will definitely choose this hotel again.
