When going to the resort restaurant for breakfast, I had the most unpleasant experience that almost cost me, and possible other guests their life.
Mistakes can always be made, even if it are extremely dangerous ones.
But how they handled it was beyond everything;..
When taking a glass of water, I saw, halfway drinking it, that it was filled with glass shards... Little pieces of glass.
I immediatly checked for the other glasses, and yes, one glass broke and there where 10's of glasses full with these little glass shards. I orderded the staff to remove this immediatly.
After that I told the restaurant boss, and after that also to the reception...
There respons was measly... They offered me a 'six long hours longer stay, free of charge'.
This is just plain respectful if you put somebody's life in danger like that, if I would've finished my glass without looking at it, I wouldn't be here today.
After I told them I don't want to stay longer in a place that almost killed me... they offered me a 5% discount on my stay... That is just a slap in the face.
The worst thing of all is, the breakfast was 'free', because it almost killed me. But when looking at my tab, I saw they still charged it. After confronting them they said they would wire it back, yet untill this day (more then 3 weeks later) I still haven't received anything.
They don't care about you, nor your safety. They care about your money and that alone.
Cool location and climate. However its best to travel with a bunch of firends here. Rooms aren't really up to standard (a bit dirty, you can spot insects inside). So you are better off staying out for as long as you can. The restaurant is pretty good. They also have a shop in the resort.
Very nice room, food. Beach is close. The staff is great. Smiles all arround. Thumbs up
We’ve been staying in this wonderful resort in early September. Super cozy and lovely atmosphere, all the necessary amenities, good selection of breakfast and dinners, very helpful staff and unbeatable value for money!!
Beautiful and very nice place. Excelent food (too much for choice) :) but too much wet enviroment on rooms...
