We had a wonderful stay in rome and a main reason for that was this great hotel. The staff was very friendly and created an atmosphere, which was very welcoming. Everything was clean and the room looked very nice. The owner took his time and helped us a lot with good and insinder information about the city. Extra wishes like a birthday cake at breakfast was absolutely no problem and well organized by the staff. If we go back to rome, we will stay there again. Strong recommendation!
Had an amazing four night stay there last summer. Had a gorgeous room with a terrace. Truly a five star experience. Paola the manager and his team go out of their way to make your experience special. We had an early flight so he opened the breakfast area an hour early for us. He even got us a BMW to take us to the airport and rolled the fare into our hotel bill so we didn’t have to go get euros to pay the driver. First class hotel in a charming and quiet area of the city. We will definitely return.
We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Monte Cenci and we were delighted with our stay and it was exceptional in every way. Amazing experience from start to finish! This was our honeymoon trip and we decided to spent a week in Rome in this amazing boutique hotel. I was amazed by the level of service, by the immaculate attention to detail and most importantly how the General Manager Mr. Paolo run his property. A true gentleman in every sense of the world with high standards, personable and definitely a person who care about his guests.
The hotel is luxurious yet cosy and comfy, not stuffy at all. I just can't say enough about the property's design and quality of the furnishings both in the common areas and the rooms. The owners have created a profoundly calm and restful atmosphere which reflects the spirit of the city and its citizens. Our room was amazingly decorated for the occasion with chocolate, red roses and a chilled bottle of Prosecco wine waiting for us with personal written messages from Mr. Paolo himself. The bathroom was incredible with his huge Romain marble bathtub in the centre. You will find all the amenities you need and let’s not forget the large comfortable bed.
The personal service is exceptional and makes the whole visit relaxing. I don't need to be pampered by a hotel, but I am amazed at what they do to make clients comfortable. Thank you to everybody in the team, especially Beatrice at the reception, you are so wonderful. Despite the mask we all have to wear (Covid-19), we can feel your beautiful smile and your kindness. Thank you for caring and making our stay even better. To Aurelia (I hope we spell your name correctly) who prepare and serve every morning our delicious breakfast. You are also special and don’t lose this contagious happiness you project to all your guests. The team are truly passionate about making your stay as special and memorable as possible and you are so well looked after. The service was definitely what Hotel Monte Cenci stands for, just perfect.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Monte Cenci. Really friendly people :) The room was perfect.
I've stayed here in August 2020. Covid rules were honored and I felt save and very welcome. Manager Paolo is lucky to have such a great team with Ivan and Mandy being incredibly friendly, helpful and going the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need to make the most out if your stay. (Yoga mat upon request as was a goose feather pillow, just to give an example). I should also not forget to mention that the breakfast is wonderful (and dangerously seducing...)! Due to covid constrains, à la carte and freshly made for you on the desired hour and served on the rooftop terrace. The chef is adorable and spoils you and definitely the best bacon and toast I've had in years... Location is excellent: in the old town and walking distance to most sightseeing spots except for the Vatican. Many restaurants close-by too. In short, great price-quality and very much recommendable.
