Four night B&B stay early Sep as part of BA city break. Hotel located in Prati residential area of Rome within walking distance of Vatican city, Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps. Decent sized double room on 1st floor with excellent Wi-Fi. Somewhat limited breakfast selection but decent coffee machine. Complimentary daily soft drink at Reception was a nice touch. Would thoroughly recommend hotel for a quiet and comfortable stay with lots of restaurants nearby.
Amazing stay at hotel Dei Mellini. The staff is amazing and welcoming. It was our first real holiday this year and we could not have hoped for a better experience. Rooms are spacious, the terrace is very nice and the breakfast is quite varied. The location is perfect - very central but yet in a quiet street

We stayed five nights in a Deluxe Double Room at Hotel dei Mellini and it was really excellent. The room was as described on the hotel’s website. It was clean, relatively large compared to other hotels and conveyed a spacious impression due to its high walls, which was especially appealing to my wife
Scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, cheese, croissants, cake, marmalade and much more made the breakfast totally sufficient for our needs. The location of the hotel is very good. It is close to St. Peter, the Vatican Museum and Castel Sant’ Angelo, with short walking distances to the beautiful places in the historical center. If any necessities are required, mini market and Coop are located nearby.
Due to Covid-19, the restaurant and bar were not accessible during our stay. However, this did not diminish our experience. Right at check-in the receptionist told us about this matter and offered support in case something is needed on our side to make our stay most pleasant. Finally, we did not need this at all as we were sightseeing during the day anyway and some restaurants are located nearby if dinner is desired close to the hotel.
All hotel employees were very friendly. In addition, the hotel showed a very high flexibility. We could easily park our rental bikes in the hotel garage overnight and leave one day earlier at very short notice and free of charge due to a travel warning of the German government.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much – and would certainly stay at this hotel again!
I had a quick visit for an appointment for my personal occasion, but they have treated me as same as their in house guest. Already that experience was enough to understand how great this hotel and how organized they are.
According to my travel experience, I would love to give a high ranked recommendation, to who wants to visit Rome to choose this Hotel. Well connected to all around the city of Rome, I'm pretty sure that you are going feel like home when you are in this Hotel.
