Nice hotel within walking distance to centre of town.
Staff warm and friendly.
Rooms lovely and cleaned every day.
Lovely Terrace at the top with bar.
Taxes to be paid at the end of our visit which we wasn't made aware of depending on the star rating of your hotel so keep this in mind.
2 ibis Styles Roma Vintage

This place was great! It was the only place we stayed at with great food in and near the hotels, the rooms were lovely, and they had a little shopping mall right next door. We had a lot of fun here!
4 SuiteSistina for Lovers

3,5 stars not possible... We expexted a different room but ok... Not too much explanation on the room or Even none. This room is ok but not more. It has a bath tub thats it. The bed is very soft but I slept quite good on it. The street is small but loud in Front of the room. I always wake up at this noise Level. You hear the people from the Café in the morning too. It is too Dark inside, which is nice at night but not at day if you want a bit light. The AC doesnt cool all the way.
The shower cabin is moulded. It is not Nice. :/
Service is good. Friendly very helpful staff!
Clean room as far as I can See and I am sensitive.
Breakfast in the room is nice too.
And the spot is Perfect! Right next to Spanish steps.
5 Hotel dei Barbieri

Attended company meetings and IT conference in the city with my family. Comfortable hotel with all amenities and nice coffee station in the lobby. Met up with friends and everything was centrally located and easily accessible from hotel. Will recommend you other travelers because of location and friendly staff who was more than happy to guide me with advice and warm greetings everytime. Adrianne made my family trip enjoyable and pleasant
7 Ripetta Natural Suites

Clean, friendly well situated. The breakfast was great. What a beautiful way to start the day. I wish that the room had a closet, but everything else was great
8 Radisson Blu GHR hotel, Rome

images
Great hotel fantastic value! Staff do a great job nothing is too much trouble
9 La Maison D' Art Spagna

images
The floor was a bit dusty but besides this everything was ok. Keep in mind that the breakfast is at a different location about 1-2 min away. The breakfast was good.
10 I Mulini a Vento

images
Small but clean rooms, perfect value for money! There is air conditioning and a mini fridge in the room.
Daily cleaning is part of the service. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the small café opposite, standard Italian, a pastry, a choice of coffee and a glass of orange juice.
The only disadvantage of the accommodation is that the walls are thin and the building is a bit echoing. Parking in front of the house is one euro per hour, but if you throw in at least four euros, the vending machine will give you a ticket for eight hours.
The landlord is helpful and flexible.
11 Martis Palace Hotel Rome

We stayed in this hotel 2 years ago. Actually it was more than we expected. Big and clean room with high ceiling and lots of closets. Very friendly staff and excellent location.
12 Fortyseven Hotel

images
We have been staying at this hotel once or twice a year since it opened (2007?) and have had repeatedly wonderful experiences. The staff—esp. Aline who is a treasure —have taken care of us like family over the years. The rooms are immaculate and spacious and the location allows visitors, even those who know Italy and Rome quite well, to explored different parts of the city’s history. While you can access the Vatican and the Pantheon easily from here, you can also explore Trastevere and Testaccio. We cannot wait to return after the pandemic!
13 Giuturna Boutique Hotel

images
Nice staying in this lovely hotel, well cleaned, friendly and kind staff. Breakfast is fine, with both continental and Italian choice. Double room is small but ok for 2 persons, bed and pillows are comfortable. The rooms are a bit noisy due to the traffic.
14 Hotel degli Artisti

images
Very good condition. Great view. The restaurant staff not so professional. The quality of service is mediocre.
15 Hotel Lunetta

images
A beautiful and quaint hotel in the heart of Rome. Walking distance to amazing restaurants. Highly recommended.
16 The Liberty Boutique Hotel

images
With my company we delivered to Liberty customers at the door the carbon road bike rental service. The employees was very professional and welcoming. Charming accommodation. Suggested for your stay in Rome.
17 Concept Terrace Hotel

images
A wonderful hotel.
I traveled during the pandemic, all sanitary measures were in place which guaranteed a stay respecting sanitary conditions. The room was clean, spacious, tidy and there was nothing missing. I could not test the breakfast but I can assure you that it smelled divine. The location is ideal since it is next to Termini, which makes it easy to get to the airport. Finally, Vincenzo (the person in charge of the hotel) was very kind and professional. As soon as I had a problem he found a solution quickly and that, 24/24.
So I can only recommend the Concept Terrace Hotel if you want to have a splendid stay in Roma
18 Singer Palace Hotel

images
We only just went there for a drink in the rooftopbar. We were a little bit scared to enter the hotel in our sweaty touristy gear after a day of sightseeing with the hotel looking so fancy. But we entered regardless and were greeted by the nicest staff at the reception. Very welcoming. Guided us to the rooftopbar. Were we drank amazing cocktails. They are pricey, but with the delicious snacks you get with them totally worth it.
19 Colonna suite del corso

Lovely hotel great location for all the places you would want to visit. Lovely breakfast and girl that checked us in was great and gave us some great info even though we have been in Rome many previous times we found places we never knew about.
I do my best to keep this list as up-to-date as possible. I last updated it in January 2025. If you know of a hipster hotel that should be on the list, let me know. Click here to contact me. Thanks!
