Stayed here for Carnival and loved it. The hotel is located centrally in Ipanema and it includes a lovely breakfast in the room rate. It is a nice hotel for a solo traveller or for someone on a business trip. No swimming pools or excessive amenities but very clean and comfortable.
Low quality hotel. The hotel service is non existent. The wifi is trash, can’t even stay on video calls without it connecting every 10 minutes. No coffee machine in room? Room is small and bathroom even smaller. You can hear music from downstairs bar even though you’re on the 11th floor. They don’t clean your room everyday. This hotel is trash. I recommend staying at Miramar. The service there is exceptional!!!! And the rooms are 100 times better than this.
The rooms are really old and definitely need maintenance. The bathroom was dirty with lime all over. It almost seemed they didn't clean the room at all before I went into the room.
Towels are old.
Linen was dirty.
The breakfast is a real shame! The place is way too small for the size of the hotel. No cups for coffee. Dirty tables. Almost no variety of food.
Two barely working elevators, which are really slow, loud and seem to not work properly.
Definitely don't recommend staying here!
Very good hotel, rooms and service with a nice quality. The WiFi in the rooms works terrible, or don’t work. From Thursday to Saturday it’s always a lot of noise until 2pm because of the bar downstairs, better stay on the top floors.
