Great varied breakfast - including cooked options (eggs, bacon etc.) plus good fresh espresso coffee on offer.
Handy, quiet location with 5 minute access to both Copacabana & Ipanema beaches & many options for eating out.
Design hotel concept does not work for me - far too much white on white decor which does not wear well and is too stark.
Hotel & rooms were very clean.

Warning! I went on a business trip two weeks ago and stayed at Best Western Premier Arpoador Fashion Hotel. Despite my several emails they still have not sent me the hotel bill so I can not get a refund from my company... If you are on a business trip I would not recommend to stay there.
The hotel is located at beginning of Ipanema which is the nicest neighborhood in Rio. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. I got a king room because I prefer one bed and it was huge and clean. The room had also double blinds which was amazing. The AC was strong. They contract with a beach stand, Miriam, that provides the hotel guests with a free rental for a beach chair and umbrella. That was a very nice touch. The room also had free coffee/tea and courtesy water as you cannot drink the tap water.
The worst thing was the WiFi which was very spotty even though my room was on the third floor.
Overall the hotel was an excellent value and I would certainly stay there again.
