Great location, stunning rooftop pool and view. The service was not fantastic however. We contacted the hotel 3 times before arriving to confirm they had a crib for us, then confirmed again at check-in. We got to the room, and sure enough, no crib. It arrived at 12:30 that night. Other problems included long lines for the only 2 working elevators, and getting charged for drinks we didn't order at the pool bar.
I do not recommend. Many much better hotel s in Rio for same price or less.
Amazing view! Nice staff definitely would come back.
The hotel has been holding ilegal carnival and summer super crowded parties in the middle of the worst time of the pandemic and was closed by the state and federal police on more than one occasion. Besides not respecting the community and the health municipal laws, the hotel exposes their own guest and employees to this awful situation putting them on risk when the state hospitals are collapsing with no ICU available and lack of oxygen. Horrible attitude by staff to English speaking tourists. It's like they expect you to learn an entire new language before visiting! No one can speak English, and no one cares. NOT FOR INTERNATIONAL TOURISTS
