Great location. Nice view from the swimming pool (will be perfect if the onthon hotel doesn't hide a part of the front beach). Room clean
Hotel is excellent! Very clean and comfortable. Front desk (especially Shirley) was incredible kind and helpful with activity information, local restaurant recommendations, etc. Staff went above and beyond. Allowed us to check our bags early (8am) and held until check-in at 2pm. Also held our bags after check out due to late flight on the day we were leaving. Even before and after checkin/out, they allowed us to access the pool and all hotel facilities. Pool area is small but great views. Breakfast was great- fresh selection of cakes, pastries, meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juices, etc. Location is great. Highly recommend this hotel!
Due to Corona, we had to cancel our trip to Brazil. The Hotel was helpful and accepted a cancellation free of charge or fees - but since refusesto refund the money or call us text back!
Update - After getting a response to my rating here, i texted them and got ignored again. Keep your standard texts to yourself if you dont mean in! Wouldnt recommend booking here!!!
I was 36 weeks pregnant in November, and I knew that there would be a small chance of having the baby in Rio. I asked the front desk to make a list of maternities I could go to, and they readily made a full list of hospitals I could go to. The staff is also very friendly and helpful, and our room was clean. By the way: my husband and I had a pregnancy photoshoot done in our room, pool area and lobby. It was beautiful! I highly recommend this hotel to whomever wants to stay in Copacabana.
