But my experience was not so wonderful..
First let’s stars with decoration in general: there are nice ideas but looks like they were never finished.. lobby looks like a desert with 3 sofas.. all the materials used in hotel are cheap and replicas like “wooden” surfaces all fake and all looks very cheap in real life.
Terrace with pool.. that’s embarrassing having this view and make this place look so cheap.. sun beds are broken, water in the pool looks like a green soup, panoramic glass all dirty.
Gym.. it’s just 3 machines in the passage between pool and elevator.
Same for the room I got, first the smell like cockroach killer. The headboard of the bed was all dirty, floors are dirty (see pics).
The AC, this huge machine is blowing directly to the bed.
No soundproof AT ALL, I could hear people talking from the next rooms and corridors, and also people from the street.
And last but not least, I booked deluxe room.. and when I got in the room I saw standard room, I went to reception and the guy told me that the size doesn’t change, but only the view between categories. Which IS A LIE because on the website they have different sizes of the different categories of the room. Oh well what did I expect.
Anyway, I didn’t expect much from this hotel, but I wasn’t ready for it to be so cheep from every point.
Never ever again!
Rio offers much much better places.
Nice building and nothing else. Room walls are made out of cardboard so you can hear everyone and everything. Room floors were dirty and full of sand and dust. Blankets smell weird too.
Hotel has 130 rooms so expect a busy breakfast area, it’s total chaos and finding a clean and set table is almost impossible - maybe at 7am.
Staff didn’t help us with lagguage, there were 3 guys on the recetion staring at their computers so we had to do it by ourselfs.
No masks for guests too. This hotel needs serious manager asap!
Maybe you can find way better service and rooms nearby.
OK hotel if you want to be in a good location, although a bit expensive for the overall experience. Check-in was quite bad with receptionist barely looking at us/welcoming us. The gym and the pool are tiny - way smaller than they look in the pictures.
