We had such a great stay here! The views were unreal. We had a perfect view of Sugarloaf Mountain and the Crist right from our balcony. The staff was all so friendly/helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was fresh and delicious. We also had a great tasting lunch and then dinner made by chef Louis at the rooftop restaurant. Yes, the maintenance of the building/rooms could be improved, but the good qualities of The Villa very much outweighed that for us. 10/10 will be returning in the future.

Amazing service, cannot fault a thing. I wanted to get away to somewhere relaxing and beautiful. This place ticked all the boxes.
Excellent experience at La Suite, my wife and I couldn’t be happier. We were greeted by Daniel, who was a very warm host and provided us with two excellent caipirinhas as welcome drinks.
The setup itself is amazing- it’s like staying at your own private mansion with amazing views. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the service phenomenal. Pro tip: ask for your breakfast to be served as a “floating breakfast” in the pool. They put it in a floater and it makes for amazing photos! (Doesn’t cost extra).
Staff is phenomenal and amenities are very nice. Fair warning is that it’s a little off the beaten, but that is perfect if you are truly looking to “get away”.
Best jazz music in the city. Once per month. Really sad they shut down :-(

We upgraded to a suite and had a room of modern style with a great bed. Definitely a recommendation.
A refined experience, unmatched service excellence. The staff here are literally exceptional. Special note to the restaurant Manager Susana. We made reservations for dinner and due to an error, the reservation was not scheduled. She quickly found a solution, offering to prepare a table for us in the lounge. Not only did she make up for the error, she was personally waiting at reception for us when we arrived. The view was amazing, dinner was a delight and the staff make this place shine. Thank you!!
Great hotel, clean and tidy. Had a nice experience overall. The price obviously is high but you get what you pay for. Would consider improving entertainment options.
Stayed here for Carnival and loved it. The hotel is located centrally in Ipanema and it includes a lovely breakfast in the room rate. It is a nice hotel for a solo traveller or for someone on a business trip. No swimming pools or excessive amenities but very clean and comfortable.
Haven't been there as a guest, only for a tasting, so can only say about the view and the common areas, which are amazing. Very nice venue for a wedding or other kind of event.
Excellent spot, good service and comfortable rooms just outside the airport, good shuttle service. If you arrive late in the afternoon or in the evening, this is the place to start in Brazil with a quite night.
Amazing view of the bay of Guanabara. Drinks and food on the pricy side. The cocktails are delicious but drink them fast because they add a lot of ice and you will end up with a watery drink. Service was excellent.
Lovely and friendly hostel, with a good chill vibe, the manager named marcus is very carefull of the guest. The place is comfirtably located, not to far in the favelas, theres a mototaxi you can use if you lazy to walk hhh.
Overall the stay was great

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is beautiful, the amenities are amazing, and the staff is great.
The pool and restaurant area are amazingly gorgeous and the service is prompt.
The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and filled with all the amenities that you can ask for.
The front desk is able to get you tickets to all of the major sights and can even order in someone from a local lab to come give you a Covid test before heading home.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone.
