We had a lunch of two gnocchi with Lobster sauce and half a bottle of Lugana at a cost of €52.
You don’t expect a five star hotel to be inexpensive but you do expect the food to be excellent.
It wasn't. The gnocchi were lumpy, not delicate and the sauce was predominantly tomato with a few pieces of lobster on top. No flavour of the lobster at all.
Nice view Good location
We were there on September 19, we were only in this hotel and nowhere else for 4 nights. We had bedbugs. Room 304. The Hotel denied that this happened, although we saw the bed bugs the last night we spend there. Horrible!! The walls are as thin as paper, you will hear everything from the neighbors as if they're standing just next to you.
But a wonderful restaurant, truly. I recommend taking any other good hotel, and visit the restaurant for lunch or dinner only. Btw, the beach costs 125€/day in summer and 95€/day in September as we were told, even if you have a room.
Non professional waiters, they can't even make a cappuccino, and no hot water in the bathroom, unfriendly reception guy!
100 yr old hotel yet still elegant and well maintained. Maybe it is the best hotel in Rimini
