Reviews from visitors:
Went on a trip through Croatie for 2 weeks with a last stop for 3 days at this '4 star' hotel.
We were probably the only visitors due to corona. Upon arrival we got a room right above the reception, which is very close to the kitchen. The rooms were very small with a small bathroom, not even a little desk with 2 chairs we can sit at. The style is not in our taste, but definitely can be for other people.
When you look through the windows you have the nice view to the mountains (+), BUT the room is also right above the terras where people eat and drink. There's also a a music box attached to the walls.
When we freshened up and changed clothes we went downstairs to have a drink and something to eat, there allready was a large table prepared for a few people. We sat down at one of the tables and asked if there was any vegi food for my wife. No there wasn't. She got offered some cheese and lettuce. Crazy to think that a restaurant with such high prices (15€ for some soup), can't even offer a decent meal for a vegetarian. So we left and went to a restaurant (10 min drive) which actually had some.
When we came back and parked our car (9 pm), We saw that the large table was occupied by +- 10 people, there was also loud music playing. We went into our room, strucken a loud noise coming from the terras but also something else. Upon further inspection, it seemed that the other noise were the hoods that were used for the cooking, went straight by our room. We went downstairs and talked to the guy in charge of the hotel (which was the same guy who is in charge of the restaurant. The person in charge of the hotel allready left at 3pm, we never saw this peron, the guy from the restaurant checked us is).
We asked if it was possible to get another room, away from the noise and the terras. This was declined (there were in total 27 rooms in the hotel, with no guests). the representative of the restaurant, just asked us to wait 45 minutes, then they will shut of the hoods.
So we waited, tired after a 3 hour drive and a hike in between.
45 minutes passed and we grew impatient, a lot of noise coming from the hoods and dining customers outside at our room included loud Croatian music booming through the speakers and also into our room. So I went down and demanded that the hoods should be turned off or we want another room. They eventually turned off the hoods.
I went back up, we went to bed and put ear plugs in to reduce the noise. This didn't help at all, the noise from the terras was just to high. At this point it was 22.45 PM. We got so frustated that we didn't want to be here another minute (our stay was supposed to be at least 3 days) We packed our bags, went downstairs, we laid the key on the desk at the the reception, because no one was there. Looked in the ktichen to say to someone we were leaving. There was a girl (who had nothing to do with our stay, just a cook). Told her we were leaving and didn't enjoy our stay here.
We went to our car and drove back home for 12 hours in the night.
We've stayed in 3 other hotels at Croatia during our holiday, which all were amazing, with very friendly staff, beautiful rooms and great food. Apart from the food (which we didn't taste) everything else was abysmal. I'll never come back here again. Never in my life i've complained about my stay to the people of the hotel or even left.
I can't recommend this to anyone because of my experience.
Still can't fathom how this hotel got 4 stars.

Very stylish, home feel boutique hotel with very interesting gourme menu. Cosy pool, very kind personel and the priceless view!
We will return for sure!
Lovely restaurant up in the tranquil Buzet hill. The atmosphere and the view of the terrace is very pleasant. The waitor was very friendly and helpful, the service was high quality. We had a very nice Malvezia wine (reasonably priced). For food, we started with salad with pheasant breast and pasta with truffle, and got braised pheasant leg and roasted quail as the main course. Our son got home-made cheese ravioli with tomato sauce, loved it. Top-notch food. We had a great dining experience here. Highly recommended.
Only visited the restaurant, not hotel... The food was very creative and delicious... friendly service, great view and excellent wine to top it all off... Highly recommended
An incredible gastronomic experience in the world of Istrian truffles.
Enormously recommend!
