A beautiful stylish hotel. Unfortunately I was given the key to my room I walked into a room that looked like it was used for a 2 day stag party. Went back down to reception and told the staff at the desk, they didn’t seem to care and just said go for a walk for 10 minutes while the room gets cleaned, would not give me a other room. Had to put up with a room that had a poor attempt of being cleaned. It is the careless staff that bring the rating of this hotel down.
Breathtaking historic building and unbeatable location. Refurbishing and new design would be needed, the hotel does not deserve four stars. Breakfast was OK. The reception tried to charge extra 40 euros for minibar foods and drinks we never took! Parking is a disaster and extremely expensive. Manager’s favourite music was limited for Hair, Sinatra and the Beatles.
Beautiful place, high quality food and drinks, friendly staff. Spacious and very clean rooms.
Had lunch here and while the setting is superb on the terrace, the food is a let down. My fish tortellini was dry and the pasta shell thick and undercooked.
