We had the most wonderful time here in Riga, and the hotel helped with that. Firstly it's in the best possible location. I doubt there would be a more perfect location in the city. It's close to the winter markets, shops, bars and restaurants. Seriously. On all three evenings our walk back from either the restaurants or the cocktails bars was less than 2 minutes. The staff here were faultless, always really friendly, polite and helpful. it was always tidy and clean.
Before I arrived I read a few reviews on here and had my fears before I checked in but none of the miserable reviews turned out to be anything like what they were saying.
I'll be honest, it's probably not a 5 star. We're not in Dubai or new York. It doesn't need to be. The location and cleanliness of the hotel makes the hotel for me and the way the staff were super friendly puts the cherry on top.
Would highly recommend it to anybody who wants a hotel in a brilliant location for a decent price.
Good choice for those who would like to live in the very center of Old City with all the necessary public places at hand but for the low price.
Rooms are really comfy, a mini bar has a wide choice of snacks and drinks, the cleaning service works really well. The only thing I don't like is some lack of towels: there are two towels per person and one additional floor towel. I understand that three stars are three stars, but if it's possible, it would be great to have one more towel added to this set.
Also, my room has a little problem with a shower (it leaks), however, it's not something awful, just a bit of repairing works needed. In general, it's obvious that this hotel is quite old, so that all the flaws are like justified :)
Breakfast is good for this price, too (two kinds of eggs, yoghurt, corn flakes, sausages etc.)
I will evaluate this hotel high since it's actually a nice place to stay.
Changed to 5* (I'm not used to give 5* but thinking better the hotel deserves them). Wonderful atmosphere. Every tiny details were very nice. Very big room. Perfect clean. I would appreciate a place to put our big luggages but the room was so big that also on the floor they don't bother you. (Dancing Room).

My husband and I stayed at their best suite. The hotel is located in the heart of Old Riga. The service was amazing. Very friendly staff. We also enjoyed delicious dinner downstairs. I should say, you must try their burger and sweet potato fries. The location is great - lots of sightseeing and shopping. And the bed, very, very comfortable. Highly suggesting to stay there.
The coffee at breakfast was great - you order it from the person at the bar so it is a proper hot cappuccino if that's what you order, and it is included in the breakfast, no extra charge. The breakfast room was small but easily fit all guests in. The location was fantastic, right in the middle of town so very accessible if you needed to get something from your room. The reception staff were always very friendly. The room was comfortable, with a convenient mini fridge. Amazing value for money! We paid £65 for 2 nights for 2 people
For a British person, the breakfast wasn't great. They had a lot of fancy seeming salads, and a lot of effort had gone into it, but there just wasn't quite enough choice to cater to everyone. I would rather have had a plainer and more varied selection.
I cannot say enough nice things about my experience here last December. My partner and I still joke that we should only visit Riga and this hotel for all our vacations from now on. They rooms were absolutely beautiful and spacious. Super convenient location near great foods and absolutely magical Christmas Markets in the winter. The front desk was very helpful and booked us in for a spa package at a local spa which was very affordable and one of the best we've ever had. Sadly, we didn't get a chance to try the restaurant but it looked amazing. Til next time!

A great hotel in Riga worth staying at. Its very clean and incredibly comfy with lots of floor space. Breakfast is included, with a nice range of options. Staff are very friendly and always make an effort. The hotel is on the outside of the old town, so everything is within a 5min walk, but also far enough out to avoid the noise at night. It is also opposite a shopping centre, so easy to buy supplies. At the rates they charge this hotel is a steal!
We had the best time here! Very cosy and charming hotel in the old town. Our room was something special and the bathroom was always nice and clean. The breakfast was homely but lovely -The staff very polite and had good recommendations what to see and do in the city. Thank you very much!

Very nice hotel with friendly English and Russian speaking staff. Small rooms but reasonable prices and the lacation make this hotel preferable. Old creaky parquet in the coridor and the room made my staying even a little more cozy.
Celebrated my husband's birthday last week and we loved it. Amazing breakfast and service in overall.
Very good hotel in the center of Riga, classical style spacious rooms, the stuff is nice and the breakfast is very good. Hotel is in the area of extremely expensive parking. You can park a bit further away in different zone or use a closed parking area that costs 30euro per day.
Value for money: 100%! You get a hearty buffet breakfast, cosy rooms and clean bathrooms. They even give you soap and shampoo, a hair dryer, a TV and radio. We had a triple sharing and the room was spacious enough with a small dining table with three chairs. You will also save money on transport, as you can go to most landmarks on foot. Location is great. Will definitely go back.
We booked this place a few months in advance. Management warned us that there's a building "face lift" process which will be over by the time we arrive. Unfortunately that wasn't over by that time. So,we came I to full mode construction place. The girl who met us tried her best but there was no way we could stay there. Too bad for management, they didn't warn us. So,they offered us another apartments of theirs,called taxi and covered it's cost. Another apartments were beautiful. Spacious,very well located and quite. I'd definitely recommend it, despite unpleasant first impression. But,hey what really counts is comfort where it come to place to stay. And we got it .

Large, bright rooms with a beautiful wooden floor and design furniture. The hotel is centrally and yet quietly located right off Dome Square. It offers a delicious, fresh breakfast and the staff is super friendly and very helpful!
Great value for money, we will definitely be back. Thanks for the great stay!
