This is an old hotel in a very good location.
The price is good, tho you get what you pid for. Rooms are old but clean. Hotel was under a major reconstruction at the time of my stay.
A parking for an extra fee of 15E/n was an option, though it’s rather expensive for ehst you can get around.
Overall an economical choice.
The hotel itself is nearly the center of Old Riga, which gives you great access to everything. It is close to rock cafe, but they have invested into double plastic widows, so noise was not a problem. Reception is nice and functional. Rooms well represented, clean. Bed was great. Breakfast bar was in restaurant with plenty to choose from. Restaurant itself is a bit expensive, but as guest of hotel you can get 20% off vouchers. Enjoyable stay. Cheers.
Good price, very good location!
What a lovely hotel in a great city! We had a good sized room, modern and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, with a 24 hour reception so no problem with early or late flights. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and the hotel situated perfectly for sightseeing in the old Town.
Although the hotel is on a quiet street there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. This wasn’t an issue for us in the middle of January but might be noisy at the height of the season if you have a front-facing room. However the hotel do provide earplugs in the rooms and we couldn’t fault it in any way.
