I stay in this hotel 19.09.20 I am wondering who give them 5 star hotel certificate. rooms with animal dead smell hotel rooms interior like 2 or 3 star breakfast water mix with juice nothing special to eat never want to stay again there. Google Times like know I am regularly traveling around then globe, I would not recommend to anyone who use to stay in 5 star hotels.

Horrible experience. We booked through booking.com, the executive room was not comply with the descriptions on booking.com, and we tried to look for any kind of solution and they made situation even worse.
1. Not 5 star hotel, could be a 3 star.
2. First impression: The location I would definitely good. However, there must be some kind of financial problem of this hotel, the aircon and the light in the reception area was off, only the reception desk has one table light. Seemed they kept the cost to the absolute minimum.
3. Cash only: even they stated on the booking.com that you can pay by credit card. Right after you book the room they will send right away that their credit card terminal is not functioning and the only way to pay your stay is cash.
4. Room: we had the executive room, spacious. And that would be the only positive thing about this room. And here we go for the disappointing factors. One of the light ball was totally broken, another one is blinking the whole night. The paper tissue box on the wall was totally empty, not even an empty box, just empty. The carpet looked that it needs a deep cleaning due to some dirty stains. The wall has splash parks, I’m afraid to think what actually happened to that mark. The tissue paper box was empty, we asked for it many times, every time they said they are bringing it right away, they never brought it.
Although the location is superb, and the staff was friendly. But we would definitely not come back again.
Terrible rooms- very old, bathrooms smell of sewer, most tv's not working, overpriced for such low quality rooms, the air conditioning unit makes loud noises that makes it hard to sleep , had to ask multiple times for a different room until i got one that was pretty much the same except the tv was working but only had like 6 channels, the only acceptable feature was the bed
We had the most wonderful time here in Riga, and the hotel helped with that. Firstly it's in the best possible location. I doubt there would be a more perfect location in the city. It's close to the winter markets, shops, bars and restaurants. Seriously. On all three evenings our walk back from either the restaurants or the cocktails bars was less than 2 minutes. The staff here were faultless, always really friendly, polite and helpful. it was always tidy and clean.
Before I arrived I read a few reviews on here and had my fears before I checked in but none of the miserable reviews turned out to be anything like what they were saying.
I'll be honest, it's probably not a 5 star. We're not in Dubai or new York. It doesn't need to be. The location and cleanliness of the hotel makes the hotel for me and the way the staff were super friendly puts the cherry on top.
Would highly recommend it to anybody who wants a hotel in a brilliant location for a decent price.
