I've used it as a base for years: simple and cheap accommodation, but still too expensive for what it offers: apart from the magnificent location on the banks of the Daugava, simple and unpretentious rooms, breakfast now abolished for Covid, and .. nothing. other!
I go back there ONLY for personal reasons
Beautiful place. Very friendly and communicative, hosts. Accepts pets. There is a kitchen where you can prepare breakfast and other meals.
