We had the best time here! Very cosy and charming hotel in the old town. Our room was something special and the bathroom was always nice and clean. The breakfast was homely but lovely -The staff very polite and had good recommendations what to see and do in the city. Thank you very much!
Nice, cozy and charming hotel in middle of everything. Convenient location and walking distance from main bus station. Around the corner is big mall with grocery store and many cafes and restaurants. Main sights are 3- 10 min walk away. Hotel itself us quaint and has charming atmosphere. Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. Breakfast was good and coffee superb. Service friendly and polite. Recommend.
We booked this 'boutique' hotel for two nights. The room we were given was absolutely uncomfortable and shabby looking. Light coming from under the door; light curtains that don't block the light; noise coming from the street; soft and uncomfortable bed. As a result we couldn't sleep more than few hours. In the evening there is nobody at the reception so we could ask for a change in room. The next morning the staff told us that no other room was available and didn't offer any other solution to our situation. The breakfast included has terrible water coffee and mostly uneatable food, saved for few sweets. The only solution has been to leave the hotel after one night, and go somewhere else, even if there was no chance to have our money back. As someone that travel *every week* for work, this is definitely one of those overrated hotel that exploit their location and offer terrible service and facilities. Nobody should book this hotel.
I travel a ton, and this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Wonderful huge room with antique wooden furniture and parquetry in the ceiling, parakeet and goldfish pond in the lobby, solid breakfast, friendly and informative staff, two blocks from the National Opera, walkable to train & bus. I’ll be back.
