Exceptional service, food, and atmosphere. Rab at it's finest.
One of the better restaurants in rab, for sure. Could be a little better for the money, but the fish is fresh, the wine excellent, and the dining terrace is quite lovely.
We were at the Astoria for dinner and were lucky enough to get a table for 5 people for dinner on the terrace on the 1st floor without a reservation. We were looked after by a waiter from the good old school who read our every wish from our lips. The amount of the invoice that I accidentally paid too high was returned immediately. The food was fantastic, the steak as well as the Loup de Mer. Highlight: the sepia risotto.
