I just spent a nine day vacation together with my family and friends.
Some of the nice things I found at this place:
Everything is clean, spotless
The staff it’s really nice, you can see that they are all of them professionals and they are doing their best to offer us a great vacation, thank you for that again.
The hotel is relatively close to the beach, and other shopping areas.
The room I was assigned to was quiet so if I wanted to rest I could do it without problems.
Wireless is working really good I can see that they have good equipment for keeping all areas covered
Now a few points which I believe could use improvement:
My biggest disappointment was when I entered the room and I realized that there is no fridge. I was told that in order to get a fridge I need to pay three euros per day for this. Now this is really unprofessional just included in the price I mean in my opinion the fridge is kind of part of the furniture. I understand that you need to pay extra if you are using a parking slot
Breakfast was OK but very similar each and every morning with not too many options.
This area of Croatia is famous for the honey that you can buy, now it’s a little bit difficult for me to understand how was possible to run out of honey for the breakfast tea. After 2-3 days we had no more honey.
For dinner there was a little bit more things that you can choose from but it was really hard for me to understand what would be the reason behind of not offering tea in the evening. management should take in consideration how expensive could be a few bags of tea and how much economy you can make on your budget rather just make it available.
Overall if I would have to come back here again I would do it it was a good experience, good vacation all they need is just a little bit of small improvements and support especially from the top management.
Very nice place. Good location, good food, many varieties.
Perfect food (breakfest and dinner) with beverages. Room - space adequate, mavelous view from balcony. Internal swimming pool perfect. But there were only a few guests (coronavirus...), it could have significant infulence.
I was here with my sister at the end of the summer 2020. Accomodation and pool area are nice, we really enjoyed it but the food was a disaster. There are so many food choices but literally not even one was tasting even good. Please cut the food choices in half but make a food taste better because this is a disaster!! I would't come back.
Outdoor pools arn't accesible with stroller (only stairs) and there is no shower there, impossible to get some water for a baby pool, tones of people in the restaurant (in the time of covid 19, i was expecting some kind of arrangement), the "park view" is a view on the ugliest roof, so your room is accessible to anyone. BUT the personnel is very nice, food is average, which is good, they put a crib in the room on our request for free, room is clean and location in good. I have stayed in some Valamar hotels befor, they always impress me, but here I will not return. I recommend the Valamar hotel in town Krk. Overall an average experience.
