1 Hotel Colonial San Agustin

This is a quirky little place to stay well located near anything you'd want to do in Quito. Helpful staff can get you anywhere you want to go. Breakfast is a nice treat with many interesting local bites on display.
2 Hotel Plaza del Teatro

This place is great for the price and excellent in customer service. The workers there are truly amazing and have helped us with our one day trip very well and I highly staying here!!
I have only a few things that can be improved:
The towels were as rough as sandpaper, mind you I usually don't care about tiny things like this but damn, the towels really hurt when I dried my face (please get some new, softer towels).
The shower in my room (307) wasn't draining correctly.
Wished the elevator came up from the entrance of the hotel.
Besides that, for the price and convenience of where we were in the center of the city, it is worth the price!!
3 Boutique Hotel Casa El Edén

Mario and Blanca are amazing people. We stayed for 2 nights and felt at home. The roof top terrace is great for wine that you can purchase in the lobby. The beds are comfortable, clean and very modern but in an old building. Breakfast is great and every recommendation they made for food and entertainment was wonderful.
4 Hotel El Relicario Del Carmen Hotel

Gorgeous hotel with wifi. We arrived super late at night (really early morning) and they were welcoming. Looking forward to the included breakfast tomorrow that we slept through this morning. Conveniently located near old town sites.
5 Casa Hotel Las Plazas

Super cute hotel in a historic building that was a former president's house. Excellent location close to the Old Town, a very short walk to the Plaza Grande. Very friendly, helpful staff.
6 Hotel La Basílica Quito

Excellent location, sweet family run business. Beds were perfect, art traditional. Couldn’t have done better!
7 Patio Andaluz

Excellent and authentic Ecuadorian food. Great ambiance inside a historic hotel in the heart of Colonial Quito. The friendly service and staff were quick and attentive. Pricing is expensive (relative to the area) but it is very modest compared to other upscale restaurants.
8 ILLA Experience Hotel

images
Hands down the best, I mean the BEST boutique hotel I have ever stayed in, the historical significance is evident before you enter the hotel, the view from the second floor seating area is breathtaking. Each floor has its own unique significance and is directly linked to the history of Ecuador. The most friendly staff I ever come across and the Jacuzzi in the basement is one of a kind, if you want to be pampered and want a unique experience like no other, I recommend ILLA Experience
9 Casa San Marcos

Wonderful boutique hotel in a great location. The owner is lovely and professional. The place is full of antiques!
10 Hotel Carlota

Great rooftop bar with fantastic views of the historic center and the virgin statue on the mountain. Their cocktail selection is limited but the view makes up for it. They also have heaters in the evening, which was a nice touch.
11 Hotel Boutique Plaza Sucre

Excellent staff. We enjoyed our stay and found the staff very pleasant and helpful and their English was excellent. Great location in old Quito.
13 Hotel Casa Gardenia

We stayed here and it was a lovely place with an amazing view, beautiful room and common space. I would highly recommend it!
14 Hotel San Francisco de Quito

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to meet all of our needs. It is clean and the environment is spectacular. There is so much history here. I will definitely be staying here again.
15 Hotel Casa Ecuatreasures Centro Historico

This was a great little hotel with extra friendly staff and a fun daily breakfast. The owner was very warm, gave us recommendations for places to see, and made sure our pick-up and drop-off at the airport went smoothly. The unique breakfasts were a great unexpected surprise and gave us a taste of a few local fruits and breakfast foods as well as toast, juice, and coffee. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a fun stay close to the town square.
16 ADAMAS HOUSE HOTEL

This was the nicest place we stayed in Ecuador. It's a new small boutique hotel with comfortable beds, nice towels, and hot showers, plus a small rooftop deck where you can have a drink and enjoy views of the city. It's about a five minute walk to the main square, and Uber is the best way to get around further. We stayed two nights, and they kindly accommodated a late check out for our two friends who had late flights out of Quito. Paola and the staff are very friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed. We were very well taken care of, with a tasty filling breakfast each morning, affordable laundry service, and they arranged safe shuttles for us when needed. We recommend booking a room with balcony if available. You can get the best price by booking directly with the hotel.
17 Vista del Angel Hotel Boutique

Stylish, excellent location for wandering in Old Town Quito, boutique hotel. Renovated with care and attention to detail, while preserving the character of the infrastructure. Fantastic room views. Would stay here again anytime!
18 Hotel Casa Alquimia

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay here, the family run hotel is so beautiful and well-run, the hospitality is on another level! The family stored our bags when we went to the Galapagos islands for 2 weeks, and then organised trips for us from Quito. Every morning the couple made a different breakfast which was always incredibly delicious and fresh. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and the hotel overall is incredibly beautiful. We always look back fondly on stay here. Could not recommend this hotel enough!
19 Masaya

I reserved the basic standard room and it was clean with a comfortable bed. Miguel was very helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly. The building has some old architecture which makes your stay really unique! Keep in mind that if you need to enter or exit the hostel at anytime before 8:00am or after 10:00pm you must use WhatsApp to call/text staff to let you in because the lobby isn't staffed during these hours and the hostel is locked. This keeps the hostel secure after hours. I had a great stay and would recommend to anyone not looking for something fancy or have high expectations. The hostel is simple, clean, friendly, and relaxing!
20 Boutique Hotel Casona De Alameda

Great place to stay !!!
First of all all the covid protocols have been followed and hotel is super clean, and recently refubrished. Definitely would recomend it during pandemic.
Hotel is strategically situated overlooking a busy city square just foot steps from hearth of historic center. Building itself is piece of art with balcony overlooking square and beautiful garden in the back. The common areas include reading/hanging out lightroom overlooking garden. Staying here made us feel so much like at home I wish we have spent all the time in hotel :-)
Breakfast is healthy, with a lot of fruit variety and yeah you could probably skip lunch :-)
Staff super professional, speaking good english and also readily avaiable to help with various arangments (transport, tours etc).
Hidden gem definitely, staying here will make you vacation special!!!
