We had great time in Artplaza hotel. The staff were great and answered all our requests. (even played with our children) The place is very clean and there are pleasant seating areas. Highly recommend (especially for families with children)

Excellent location and clean and nice rooms. It's walking distance, if you're willing, to a lot of very nice and interesting parts of Quito, and I never felt unsafe or unwelcome in the area. If I return to Quito, I will definitely stay here again.
