Reviews from visitors:
Super cute hotel in a historic building that was a former president's house. Excellent location close to the Old Town, a very short walk to the Plaza Grande. Very friendly, helpful staff.
Absolutely wonderful hotel in a historical building and amazing breakfast with local fruit. The staff was very dedicated, helpful, warm and knowledgeable. Only downside would be that our room was next to the (gorgeous inside patio) kitchen, which can be noisy starting 7:30am.
The best boutique hotel in Quito! This beautiful hotel is a great place with a history! Original features like wooden floors, high ceilings with ornaments and comfy beds will make your stay amazing! Creative breakfast made by Lucie and friendly and perfectly spoken English by Mario serving you delicious coffee and freshly squeezed juice in white gloves will make you feel special! Hotel is spotlessly clean thanks to Mari! I felt so happy and welcomed by Louis and Patricio as if I was their family. I highly recommend this little gem just 2 minutes walk from the Plaza Grande and all the churches, museums, cafes and restaurants! Excellent value for money! I am missing this beautiful hotel already but I will visit again next year!
Incredible staff that treated us like royalty. This place is in the best location, safe, secure, and with a view from the terrace. Breakfast was authentic and several courses served by the hosts.
Hotel Casas las Plazas is a gem in Quito, quite close to the old town. The property is an older residence that once belonged to a president and vice-president of Ecuador. It is nondescript from the outside, but very nicely maintained and very comfy inside. My room (single) was clean and comfortable. It was small, but lacked for nothing for a single traveler. Breakfast was outstanding in my opinion, though I seldom actually sit down for one. What really made the stay pleasant was the staff. The reservationist, Luis, was extremely helpful after I reserved my room, and two others totally took care of me while I was there. My sole purpose in Quito was to climb Ruco Pichincha, which I did. They helped with cabs, dinner and transfers to and from the airport. The hospitality was exceptional. I'm sure I will visit again.
