Perfect for relaxing before your flight. Small and isolated from the rest of Quito, but located close to the airport. Facilities include a pool, soccer grounds, and a playground for kids. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was okay, but the shower lacked hot water and there were ants in the bathroom. The kitchen provided okay meals, the soups were tasty.
A great stopover after a late night arrival into Quito Airport. Didn’t want to arrive into Quito in the dark. The morning at San Carlos was visual magic.

Fantastic hosts. They were so kind and welcoming to make space for us at the last minute during the protests in Ecuador. A clean place to rest for a night on a layover.
Ultra quiet and peaceful. Every inch of the place is beautiful and picture-worthy. The staff was also very friendly and helpful, and you can tell they really care about maintaining the property
