Wonderful modern hotel which had lovely clean rooms, very comfortable beds and a great view out if the window. Some rooms even have a balcony overlooking the city!
A great surprise! For the price Ilalo is extremely clean, the rooms are big and very comfortable, and most offer an excellent view of the valley nearby. Service was very effective and friendly, and the food was surprisingly delicious and inexpensive. Hard to avoid the noise from outside, but Ilalo makes up for it with beautiful grounds, I even spotted wild pomegranates growing nearby!

Family run hotel and restaurant. One of the few places for healthy vegetarian and vegan (upon request) food. They also have a little shop with healthy food. Highly recommended!
New construction, clean and modern hotel built right in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Family owned, friendly and helpful staff, eager to please their guests. Includes fabulous restaurant style breakfast complete with glass of fresh juice, yogurt & granola, plate of sweet cut mixed fruit, coffee, tea or chocolate, eggs your way, basket of bread, jam, butter & sliced local cheese. Restaurant also offers a variety of vegetarian options. Would definitely stay here again. Easy access to all Quito points of interest by taxi or Uber. No A/C in rooms as Quito tends to stay on the cooler side all year long. If you do open the windows to let the fresh air in at night, you may hear the locals playing their dance songs nearby. But it’s ok. The hotel is great.
