The hotel is tired and a little short staffed. The hot water is temperamental, one can hear everything going on in the hotel in the rooms (it is likely you would be woken up in the Miller if the night at least once), and the WiFi is fairly unreliable.
Short staff means it is possible that one would be left on the street at night trying to get in, because the single member of staff on duty in the evening was elsewhere in the hotel. In Quito‘s old town, this is not very safe.
The beds are very comfy, however, and the location is good for Quito‘s old town. The breakfast is also decent.
Excellent staff. We enjoyed our stay and found the staff very pleasant and helpful and their English was excellent. Great location in old Quito.
This hotel is nice, well located, breakfast is great and the staff is helpful charming and respectfully. There is always someone attending the front desk and giving you options to eat as a local. Highly recommended
Fairly central, and quite clean. Just stay away from the rooms that face the main street or you'll never be able to sleep from the noise. Polite and helpful staff were able to move me to a quieter room. Note, there is no air-conditioning.
Wonderful place to stay in Quito, ask for a room off the inner courtyards for quiet. Street side room was a bit noisy at night and early in the morning. Great breakfast with view of panecillo from breakfast room.
