My experience in the Hotel Dollar was good! The rooms are a bit old, but comfortable! The breakfast was great (I suggest trying the homemade oatmeal muffins!!). Above all, service was wonderful. It was a pleasant stay. Would've wanted to stay longer and enjoy the deck.
Really nice hotel! Modern and clean with an attention to detail. Indoor and outdoor pools are great. I will definitely stay here again when I'm back in Punta del Este.
Short and sweet: this is a wonderful hotel.
Generous pours of wine, good service overall, nice ambience. The casino terrace has a gorgeous view of the beach especially at sunset hours.
The location could not be better. There are many restaurants at the hotel: sushi and buffet (a little overpriced for the food selection). If you appreciate good food especially meat you can find a better place to have dinner for the price.
For the most part you can’t go wrong with this hotel.

Staff was fantastic. It was my birthday when we were there so they brought a dessert up to the room which was such a nice gesture. Rooms were spacious and very modern as it's a new hotel. No carpet which I LOVED. Shower was amazing, I didn't want to get out. Breakfast was included, we ate outside by the pool which was a nice way to start the day.
Sadly we will likely not be back to Uruguay for a long time as it's so far from home but we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
Great place to stay in, near Punta Shopping Center, and the place has a client garage to park your car while you are in.
The pool is great too, even in the pandemic times, it was well managed and really nice to get some stress out of your system.
Best boutique hotel we stayed in South America. It was so luxurious and the price was affordable. I loved that you could rent bikes and ride around. I will definitely stay there again!!!
Nice and cozy. The attendants are all well trained, very sweet, the pool is warm, there is a good shower for after the pool. Just next to the beach. Very convenient. Great air conditioning. Parking lot.
