It is a hotel with a very good location, with a spacious and beautiful room, but no maintenance. The air didn't work, the plasma had a problem with controls. The excellent boy, he tried to solve. But it impacted the service
A few days ago we spent one night in this hotel, we booked through booking before arriving.
But when we got to the hotel the guy at the reception told us that we could not keep our reservation by booking which was about 53 dollars, but that we had to pay in cash 80 dollars.
We did it because it was almost 00 at night and we were tired, they didn't ask us for a card, nor did they take our temperature. The hotel is old, and the photos on its site have nothing to do with its current premises.
The value for money is not fair.
For days we have been in a hotel a thousand times better and half a block from the Rambla much cheaper and cleaner without a doubt.
I hope they improve their cleaning and clarify the costs before, since we called before to consult and they did not respect that.
My worst experience in Punta del Este !!! Everything promoted is a scam. Cable Telvision doesn't work ... air conditioning doesn't work either. It is very hot in the room and you can hardly sleep. The only person at the reception has no answer. The photos of the rooms do not correspond anywhere near reality. I could go on but I don't want to ruin my day. In short, I do not recommend the hotel or my enemies. My stay was in January 2021 in room 303.
Excellent place. The location near the sea and the river. The homemade food of the place itself and its staff.
