I booked a superior room in the park plaza hotel.
My accomodation was in the „marina wing“ which is not the park plaza hotel but a building next to the park plaza hotel. I guess the former hotel palma.
I paid for a weekend(2 nights) in the middle of august 538 euro included brekfast.
The room was big and the vieuw on the yachtharbour was nice.
The room was faced to the north, which gives you less heat during the day.
There was a balkony which is not private but was shared with an other room .
In front of the balkony is the free carparking of the guests , which can give you problems if an caralarm goes off very early in the morning.
The bathroom is modern but the tiles start to look a little shabby with black spots on it.
The toiletseat is quite shokky. It has brown spots an stripes all around which cant be cleaned anymore( i wonder where the colour comes from ;-)). Why dont they change it? Check the picture i uploaded.
The bed is far away from a superior 4 star standard! Tal persons will wake up with pain in their back after 2 nights.
The hygiene of room is not breathtaking!
The breakfast is very rich, and offers
food for every taste and mood. They also offered sealed gluteenfree bread.
„Nightlife“ you will find in the city, you will need a cab, which is around 10 euro oneway.
All in all its a nice stay, for a beach holiday, the only problem is that you should except more of a superior room in a 4 star hotel. The price is far to high for what you get!
Nice
Decadent structure, old and ramshackle rooms. Beautiful sea a few steps away but accessible only to expert swimmers, no beach. Valuable to visit the islands and neighboring villages. Overall 1300 km. that it was not worth traveling.
