Room was spacious and comfortable, with a good view of the city and beach. Great location- easy walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Helpful and accommodating staff. The room did not include a coffee maker, but I asked the front desk and they gave me one with coffee & sugar refilled daily (they have a few of these that are available by request only).
Breakfast is decent- nice atmosphere and sometimes there is live music.
Only downside is construction activity right in front of the hotel which also makes parking and exiting the hotel a bit of a hassle.
This place is positively FRESH.
1) The views from the rooftop pool are better than anywhere else in Vallarta.
2) Super friendly, international, multi-lingual staff.
3) Large rooms with great shower pressure, comfortable beds with great views.
4) Lightening fast internet so it's perfect for any digital nomad, not to mention that the rooftop has great internet so you can work poolside which is obviously amazing.
5) A price you simply can't beat. Well worth every penny. Already booked another stay here.

During these interesting times with Covid, certain businesses stand out, and Hotel Mio was one of those. My family was staying in Nueva Vallarta, and it was my first time in Puerto Vallarta, so I was clueless what to do. Ravi went out of his way to introduce new places and restaurants and went out of his way to accommodate myself. Because of customer service like this, I will recommend Hotel Mio to my family and friends, and will definitely be staying here when I come here twice a year. I highly recommend to everybody this great hotel, with an amazing location.
This place is awesome!! from the moment we walked in, the beautiful Frida was there to great us along with the reception staff. Our daily breakfast was truly awesome we looked forward in seeing our greater Anna every morning with a smile that was transparent through the face mask she was wearing our waiter and waitresses Tristian, Dannet, Claudia, & most importantly Wanda who made sure our coffee was prepared fresh and strong every morning. Our pool bartenders Cesar & Alejandro made sure we were taken care of all afternoon with no pressure. Lizeth the pool host was fantastic! We visit Vallarta 4 times a year and this was our first stay at Hotel Mio and i can say we will be back in 2 weeks.
Dump .. one elevator for 11 floors, that goes the wrong way. $25 500mxn for an undrinkable piña colada, and they don't have a straw. Packed with kids. The maid never comes, construction out front make it impossible to walk anywhere, and traffic is brutal. Terrible experience.
