What a special place! Despite a reservation kerfuffle, my time at Casa de Chayo was lovely. The staff are friendly and attentive, the view is spectacular, and the rooms are beautifully appointed.
Hidden Gem in Puerto Vallarta with spectacular views and an amazing staff. Beautifully decorated with plants everywhere. My husband and I loved the rooftop pool and stayed up there for hours looking at the ocean and eating fresh fruit. This place is quiet, clean and close enough to beach, shops and restaurants. Honestly you won’t want to leave once you arrive. Will definitely stay again!! Thank you Maria for the recommendation xoxo

I wish I could give this piece of Mexican paradise a 10 star ⭐️! It deserves it! I can not fault it. From the warm friendly staff that would bend over backwards for you, to the stunning rooftop bar that serves the best breakfast I have had in some time with the most magical view. The rooms are Devine! Mexican boutique at its very best. We will recommend this to everyone. We do not want to leave and can’t wait to come back! ❤️
Casa de Chayo was fantastic in every way. The staff are friendly and attentive, in a home away from home type of way. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we felt safe, welcomed and charmed. The property itself is not done justice by the pictures, it has to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. It’s located centrally at the base of Viejo Vallarta, just a short walk down the hill to an awesome restaurant, Baracuda (where you can find the best fish tacos while watching the waves crash) and all sorts of other bars, shops and restaurants. It’s about a ten minute walk to Playa de Los Muertos. Rooms are spacious and clean. There’s a wine cellar in the basement and terraces on each floor where you can relax and watch the sunset or cook with friends. They also serve a continental breakfast, which is way better than what you’d expect. Essentially, whatever you want, they’ll make it and it’s free. We will definitely be back!
