Be aware that the positive reviews are from Local Guides, and probably not authentic stays. The negative reviews correspond with my experience here. No restaurant, not a beach front hotel, Blanca, the receptionist is the most unwelcoming human I’ve met at a hotel.
The rooms and bathrooms are nice, the price is fair, but too much false advertising and fake reviews. Unfortunately I booked through Booking.com, so no one to report a case of medication tampering in my room. The police had to be called. The way it was handled initially was awful. The owner was called and she agreed to write a report of the incident. Hopefully the incident will be addressed with the staff as I’d hate for someone’s medication to be altered without them knowing about while staying here.
We had the Casa Don Martin penthouse with 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, seating and jacuzzi WOW what an amazing hotel we loved it, what a gorgeous view from balcony, pool and terrace 360 views. Practically beach front where you walk just across a small street to the beach. Staff was very nice and attentive. Great coffee & continental breakfast. No doubt our favorite place where we will be here again. Great location, so many restaurants nearby and shopping and we still walked every day to the malecon and centro.
3.75. Bed was too firm with a stained comforter. City view room was nice, but a little noisy from busy street. Fridge, microwave, and range included. Nice location. No beach service or chairs.
This boutique hotel is literally in front of the beach. It's also near a very famous restaurant. The rooms are breathtaking with a balcony and a view on the ocean. We were there during Covid so it was so cheap!
Our room came with breakfast which was nice and simple. But there were lots of mosquitoes!
I stained the bed a little and they were very nice about it, deep cleaning it for a reasonable fee.
However, their Wifi box is glued to the ceiling and it has a constant green light which definitely ruined my nights. We had to cover it with towels...
The staff was great; courteous, fast and very accommodating (Thank you Francisco, Blanca, Diana and the blond girl that works in the breakfast area). Breakfast on the week days is served downstairs, but in weekends was served by the pool. The room was nice with plenty of storage space, clean and with a good modern vibe. We loved the balcony, roomy and with a beautiful view of the ocean; nice warm water and the swimming pool on the top of the hotel was delightful). We stayed and the room with the kitchenet, which had all the tools for preparing a quick meal, or to use the fridge for cold beverages. The hotel is fairly close (walking distance) to the grocery store, restaurants and ATMs. Consider this hotel in your trip to PV and try to stay on the beach front rooms where you can see the live shows, fireworks and the beautiful sunset on the beach from the balcony. We really enjoyed our stay.
