Such a dream getaway! You are welcomed with a delicious drink and incredible service. The resort is beautiful. There is one lap pool and one warmer, swim-up bar pool. The resort is right on the beach with beautiful views. There are three restaurants. We only got to experience 2, but both were incredible and offered delicious vegetarian options. The staff is so friendly and the hotel is quiet and clean.
We stayed in the honeymoon suite, mostly for the deck with the hammock and outdoor jacuzzi. The room is a little small though, so if you’re willing the spend the $40-$80 more each night, I would recommend the master suite. You still get a hot tub outside with panoramic views and much more space inside. No hammock though:)
This resort is adults only, but as a guest here, you also have access to the resort next door with even more pools, lounging beds, restaurants and bars. The buffet there is really good!
Anyway! Well worth the money. You need to stay here!
We went to Villa Premiere Boutique Hotel to celebrate our 5-year wedding anniversary over Labor Day weekend. We arrived at the hotel only to be immediately questioned about attending a time-share presentation. We let the concierge know that we had already signed up with a company (Vidanta) at the airport in exchange for discounted excursions during our stay. The front desk receptionist started haggling with us and called her manager, Alejandro Rivera. He promised us that if we signed up and attended one of THEIR 90-minute presentations at the hotel we would get reimbursed on the excursions we already signed up for AND we would receive a romantic dinner at the hotel. He guaranteed us numerous times that we would get our $200 refunded “no problem” when we returned to the airport. When we were finally able to get to our room, we called the agency at the airport (Vidanta) to inform them that we were canceling our appointments (with plenty of advanced notice).
The following morning, what was supposed to be a 90-minute presentation to get us to sign up for their worldwide hotel packages, turned out to be a four-hour presentation!!! (WE WERE NEVER INTERESTED and repeated many times, WE WERE NOT INTERESTED!) This wasted our entire morning, after our entire afternoon had already been wasted the day before. After the presentation, we were again told that we would easily be refunded at the airport for the $200 deposit we put down with the agency for the discounted excursions. We then had to rebook the excursions through the hotel at the 20% discount they offer ALL GUESTS.
The day we were returning to the US, Alejandro once again reassured us that we would get our $200 refunded and that we should speak to the manager there if we had any problems (also named Alejandro Gonzalez). When we got to the airport, we had to track down the right person to speak to as we could not walk to the back of the airport which was reserved for arrivals. We went to Alejandro’s office and went back and forth disputing our $200 refund. He said that $100 had been lost to “secure” the excursions. He continued to tell us that even though our paperwork clearly said “100% Refundable,” he was unable to refund any money there. He said they cannot offer refunds at the airport because they don’t handle transactions (even though that is where we signed up and gave $200 in cash to Vidanta). When pressed about the other $100, he finally conceded that we would need to go to the Vidanta property (40 minutes away in the next state of Nayarit!!!) with only 30 minutes left before our plane boarded. He said he had already told “Hotel Alejandro" to stop sending people back to him with promises of being refunded. So after another hour wasted, we left very upset with no refund!
We called "Hotel Alejandro" when we were back in the US only to get the run around again about how he thought they still refunded people at the airport. Such BS! He then told my husband, “Well you did end up going on the excursions and you did get a romantic dinner…” Yes, excursions WE PAID FOR TWICE and a
“romantic” dinner, which was a mediocre dinner at an empty restaurant (because no guests were dining there that night or the night before… By the way, we had paid for the ALL-INCLUSIVE package and had eaten at the same restaurant the night before. It made absolutely no sense. We left this hotel with such a bad experience, a $200 loss and precious hours wasted, all because the hotel would rather undercut other promotional companies with false promises at the expense of the experience of their own guests!!!
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed it. Great service. Very professional and beautifully designed. Highly recommend it
Amazing food and service! A must stay hotel. Master Suite was stunning the views from the wrap around patio and spa were fantastic!!
This is an absolutely beautiful resort. The offer all inclusive. The staff is friendly, hardworking and very helpful. The location on the coast is ideal. It's close to local restaurants and nightlife. The ocean access is the best. The assist with connecting you to the best tour experiences and excursions. The food in their 4 restaurants is delicious!
