Very poor. Old and dated rooms, staff were rude on more than one occasion, and getting orders wrong several times. Food was good, and grounds nice, but I'd not stay again if the price were one third of what we paid. Shop around, as some amazing places not far.
The sarcastic undertones in the reply to this review are a reminder of how the stay panned out. Issues were raised with staff, where we were told it was due to getting up to speed because of covid. We've stated in several hotels to try to put money into the economy, this has been the worst experience of all. It wont let me upload photos, but there were several parts of the room that looked like they were from the 1980s. The warm minibar that looked like an old boiler, and the radio bedside cabinet being personal favourites. Watered down toiletries were a new one; never seen this before.
I've not been overly critical, just shared my experience. It appears from your response that this is obviously just me, but several of our party commented on how poor it was, with equal enthusiasm when points were raised with staff.
Best of luck to you, but we won't be staying again, and will share our experience with friends.
My husband and i stayed at Cavo Maris Beach Hotel for 3 nights and we made the most of our stay. The beach was at a convenient distance, only a 2min walk with a fabulous bar and grill on the the beach. During breakfast they had a variety of dishes and the waiters would put food in your plate for you (due to covid19 to help prevent the spread). The restaurants at the hotel were simply perfect, great food and wonderful service from all the staff. And to top it off the music entertainment they had in the evenings was very enjoyable with wonderful service from the bar. We would definitely go back.
We stayed at Cavo Maris and it was absolutely magical. We were celebrating an anniversary and were greeted with a bottle of prosecco and the beautiful views the the hotel has to offer. The grounds of the hotel are incredible and make you not want to leave them as it is so peaceful. Everything was perfect, from the cleanliness, the facilities and the staff. Everyone was very attentive and there was always someone around to help you if you needed anything. Our main shout out is to Christos at breakfast who was so friendly every day and attended to our every need as if we were the only customers there, and did this for each customer that was at the hotel.
We have just returned from a dreamy weekend vacation in the Cavo Maris Beach hotel - it was absolutely no less than excellent !!
We stayed at the wonderful "Hera" suite and enjoyed every minute in the hotel.
I must say that the hotel staff are very friendly whenever we came across one of them!
In addition, the hotel & its facilities are extremely clean & well maintained!!
We dined twice in the "ARGO" restaurant & once in the "SEAWEED" - and it was fabulous! we saw no reason to seek restaurants outside the hotel :)
The vacation in this hotel has definitely placed a high-standard & it might be a problem to stay in other hotels :)
My kids enjoyed it so much that they didn't want to go back home :)
I will surely come again in the future!
Beautiful hotel, fantastic location and fascilities. Exceptionally clean and all staff adhered so very well to maintaining cleanliness due to covid. Staff were extremely professional and very friendly. Food excellent. Can not recommend this hotel highly enough. This was our second time and it just gets better.
