Penta is a really cool place to stay. It is clean, breakfast is very rich, and what I also like a lot is the hotel bar and that you can spend a great evening there. Kitchen works late, and bar is open (I think) entire night. At the reception there is a pool table as well as PlayStation so you can have fun if you are lazy to go out (as we were)
We were on the 6th floor and there weren't many visitors, so it was quite silent, i would say that is pure luck.
As for the staff, we didn't have problems, they were nice and the room was tidied up, but as I said the hotel wasn't ful and we only stayed for 2 days
After read a lot about the hotel good and bad things I still decide to try it.
15 min walking from the main train station or 5 min walking from the tram, 20 min walking to old town square. You can buy the public transport ticket at the hotel.
Really good buffet breakfast, will help you start your day, eggs, toast, fruit, cereal, juice, etc etc.
Very clean and my room was clean everyday as well. Powerful hot water,
All hotels in prague are surrounded by bars and drank ppl but I did not have a problem to sleep at all or with noise
Really good restaurant 1 min walking from hotel Guston or 2 min walking SOU100.
Only thing in would say to improve it is that it get hot in the room at night but is not a big problem ( they might have fan but didn't ask for it )

A very good Hotel with a reasonable price. The Hotel staff was very polite and helpful, the breakfast was best you can get at a price, the beds were very comfortable. The Hotel staff was so good that last day we had to catch a flight and couldn't eat our breakfast they asked would do we like to eat and gave us a packed breakfast :)
