Reviews from visitors:
I truly loved my stay in the Hotel Waldstein, as it's truly amazing and located in the heart of Prague. We arrived by car and it was also easy to park. The service was extremely attentive and friendly and the breakfast was a highlight! We really fell in love with the great interior design of our room, will recommend it further, and will definitely come back! Thank you
Great hotel, located right in the center of Prague, they accepted our cat without additional charge. The rooms are very comfortable, excellent breakfast and kind personnel. I definitely recommend.
Small, boutique hotel with excellent breakfast served in the basement :) The only drawback is parking place - there are just a few spots in front of the hotel and parking in Prague (blue zones) is quite expensive.
Beautiful hotel, well maintained old fabulous building. Fantastic looking old rooms with great new furnishings. Beautiful restaurant
My wife and I had work that was going to bring us close to Prague this summer. I wanted to surprise her for our twenty year anniversary by staying at Hotel Waldstein. We both came down with COVID in March, and I nearly died from pneumonia. Travel to Europe is now prohibited, my event was cancelled, and the Czech Consulate told us there are no plans to lift the travel ban and allow Americans to enter the country for travel. Under these conditions, we have been forced to cancel all travel.
Hotel Waldstein is the ONLY hotel in Europe refusing us a refund.
In their emails, they remind us we had an option last November to choose refundable or nonrefundable tickets. (Honestly, I didn't realize that was a restriction of making reservations through a third party.) Last November! Since then the whole world has changed, but not the Hotel Waldsteinand or their stance on refunds. They suggested we contact the front desk for a waiver to use the hotel in the future, but our conference is every two years and it seems unlikely. Three front desk told us they can't issue a waiver as we need to go back to management. It's a shameful runaround. It does not reflect well on Hotel Waldstein. One star.
