Nice guesthouse in the middle of the city. Very friendly staff and clean, well maintained rooms. The bathrooms could be a bit better, and the breakfast could certainly be improved (€2 extra for eggs seems a bit silly and the coffee is not very good), but for the price and location is really very good.

I had a amazing experience in Casa dos Loios. If I had to summarize my stay, I would use the words “beautiful, cosy, friendly and, overall, suitable”. I travelled to Porto with my partner, was my first time -who was even happier than me with the choice for our stay-.
When you visit a city such as Porto, you want a nice room with an efficient service. We’ve got that and more. Sara welcomed us effectively and kind at our arrival and helped the staff in the morning during our breakfast in the “patio” taking care of every detail to ensure the nicest start of the day.
The renovations of this old building has been done with full respect to the original construction. All furniture is vintage and unique in each room. Every corner had something that called our attention and made us feel as we were in a movie from the 70s-80s.
The measures taken by Casa dos Loios to follow COVID-19 recommendations fulfill high standards but without losing a friendly attention and an easy stay.
Definitely, we will come back as soon as we have the opportunity to travel to Porto again. Even in this difficult times.
Centrally located. Service staff is really nice and helpful. The rooms are only okay. They are functional but clearly old and could use some maintenance.
There is always some food and coffee available at the common area which is nice. The breakfast is simple but good.
I forgive the maintenance issues, since the bed was comfy at we did sleep well, but I wouldn’t go here expecting a luxury experience. It’s a nice guesthouse.
Big and clean rooms, and they also have a small lift for your luggages.
Location is perfect and nice breakfast spread.
