Great location right in the old town, staying in the hotel allows you to drive in through the pedestrian barrier and park out side the hotel but don't follow Google maps for this- it doesn't understand. The hotel email a set of instructions that allow you to get there which is very useful. The rooms are big and spacious and the hotel is very old and the decor in keeping with the style and history of the old town. The rooms were very warm which meant we slept with the windows open but this resulted in mosquitoes coming in in the night. The hotel staff were fine- didn't really see much of them. I recommend this hotel if you are looking for a authentic old town experience but due to the age and style of the hotel you will have to be prepared for it not being quite as luxurious as other newer hotels.
Gallery 37 is a charming hotel in the old town. Amazing rooms, very comfortable beds, fresh breakfast and amazing service.
Being a small hotel with high standards it is a perfect hotel to stay during covid times, as it is small, breakfast is made freshly for you and you are not in contact with other people.
We had a double bed room, the hotel is lovely. The room is exposed to sunrise in the morning. The breakfast is excellent! The lighting in the room is a bit dim for our taste though. Complimentary fruits and vegetarian truffle is amazing! The bedding is excellent as well, you get two types of pillow. It's overall a very pleasant experience.
Super comfortable hotel with a location that cannot be beat; steps away from all the best Kapana restaurants and bars. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They can’t do buffet breakfast so they just brought it to our room. The rooms are spacious and clean. Very modern. For the price, can’t be beat.
An amazing place! Strongly recommend to everybody who wishes to have a great stay in Plovdiv. Situated at the very heart of the center. Very clean and well designed rooms, extremely kind and helpful staff. The place is very comfortable and well accommodated! Looking forward to visiting again!
We stayed here in August '19. Mitko went out of his way to ensure our comfort, including supplies, room temperature, food/breakfast, directions, maps, helping us with making bus reservations to Sofia, and many other pieces of information. He shared a wealth of information with us to make our 3-day trip extremely comfortable and enjoyable. Let me put it this way: Plovdiv is the cultural capital of eastern Europe, and Mitko and his hospitality is representative of the best of the best in Plovdiv. If you get a chance to go to Plovdiv, I highly recommend you consider staying at The Roots Hotel and Wine Bar!
very nice personell, very clean and warm. nicely done and in a very good place.
it has interesting stairs, which might be problematic for some people, but if you do not have any problems, it is quite charming and rustic.
Super friendly and helpful host. Perfect location and great value! It was clean and looked good. Hot water and good pressure. Nothing to complain about!

…. Extremely noisy from the boulevard for apartments and rooms overlooking it. You can't sleep with the window open at night, and sleeping on the air conditioner is not an option for everyone. Because of this, one heart fell out.

Smell ....
…. The bathroom has liquid soap and shower gel from a dispenser in the shower cabin, which smelled nice. There were no disinfectants in the room;
…. The water in the minibar, supposedly new and sealed by Devin, had a strange odor, slightly smoky, as if not fresh. I drank Devin before too, but it never smelled like this. I am wrong about my suspicion.
Taste ....
…. Illy coffee is our favorite, so we enjoyed it with a few cookies we bought.

Great experience would recommend! Location - few kilometers from Plovdiv in the middle of nowhere, so you can relax properly from the city. Clean and tidy rooms. Extraordinary breakfast with a lot of options and great coffee. Nice spa & park, amazing view and lighting at night of the city. Decent internal and external heated pool, but not suitable for swimming - 130cm the deepest point of the biggest pool.
Truly amazing place. The location is central and the vibe in the area is so positive.
The house is old and is renovated in a way that makes a sense. As an architect I can say that the mix of modern and classic architecture makes the atmosphere so special.
