Reviews from visitors:
I'm sure Covid will get the blame, but overall we were not a particularly impresssed with our stay At the Marieta.
The rooms decor was nice, but they are only cleaned every other day and the sheets were only changed on day 6 after we made a fuss! The rooms have a decent TV and a fridge, which proved to be very useful given the poor bar service!
The food was definitely below the standard I've come to expect from a 4 star hotel, with very little choice and a lot of repetition.
The drinks were OK, but the service at the bars was very slow, especially in the evenings with 20 minutes queues common. This wasn't helped by only one of the three bars being open in the evening.
The spa was closed so I can't comment on that.
The hotel has free access to a local gym which was very well equipped and very Covid-conscious, with gel dispensers and anti-bacterial cleaning spray available to disinfect the equipment.
The location is pretty good; the beach is only a few minutes walk away.
The rooftop chillout terrace really made the holiday for us; it's a fantastic place to soak up the sun without cooking by the main pool.
Lovely hotel, rooms clean and relatively nice location. As with most places, parking a bit difficult and you have to pay but for the most of it a wonderful stay. Staff very friendly and the Zeus bar was really pleasant. Lovely views during the day on the rooftop bar also. Sometimes can be loud especially if your on the higher floors when they have events upstairs...
Amazing Amazing Amazing its super staff so helpful cant do enough for you
We have booked again for next year
Beautiful hotel, with very friendly, helpful staff, highly recommended
Definitely not worth the money you pay. The very lenient Spanish 4-star rating is very misleading. This is really a 3-star hotel.
- WiFi doesn’t work (very cheap, old setup)
- very noisy cleaners moving all the furniture from 8am, rooms aren’t isolated.
- the indoor pool is in the Spa, which is an extra €20 daily charge. Outdoor pools aren’t heated.
- no iron in the room, you need to get the ONE iron from reception.
- ‘sea view’ rooms aren’t particularly good as the view is blocked by trees.
- badly kept. Small damages everywhere.
They get a star for the nice staff and decent Christmas dinner, both of which are a rarity in Spanish hotels.
