We like this place, quiet and good located, just few steps from beach or 5th avenue.
Garbage place. We had a bad experience once, they made it right with free drink tickets (no expiration). Then we returned and had another bad experience, where Oscar gave us a a hand written note for an additional two free drinks. Since we live close I decided to give it another chance. They wouldn’t accept our ticket for a free drink despite that we were already paying for other top shelf liquor because “management changed.” Waiter was a coward and had the audacity to send another waitress to collect CC payment. When I explained she yelled “hablas español” in my face. They’re lucky I even gave them another chance after two failed attempts and then this?! TRASH.
For a 5 stars hotel, this is definitely comfortable. Staff are kind an helpful. Tho, not everyone at the hotel speaks English. There location is convenient. There are many good food options in the area. As well, an added bonus is that it is near a health-food store for your basic needs.
The hotel partners with a beach club. You can ask the front desk for a pass to the beach. It includes access to a beach chair. It is very serene to spend an afternoon by the beach. With that said, wifi, certain pool accesses and lounge areas are not included.
The roof top pool is nice but the view is blocked by the nearby buildings. It was empty when I visited. Rightly so, when you are near a beautiful beach!
There some cracking noise the whole night. Wifi is not very stable. Overall, amenities are great. Location is good.
This hotel was amazing. The employees were friendly. The rooms and hotel in general is beautiful everything looks exactly like the photos. Everyone was very hospitable and professional.
Our last night we ate at the restaurant below. The food was worth every penny. Best restaurant in all of Playa Del Carmen (trust me).
It's not so central so be expected to walk a lot but worth it.
