Both the location and beach are nice.
Food and drinks are just good.
The service is slow and does not include mattress, it is $300 MEX / 14.56 US per mattress. May not be much but found it ridiculous since we are consumers after all.
Note: Anywhere they sale coconut’s they offer to open it right after you drink it and give you the ”meat”, but here they don’t, bummer.
Not sure if employees just feel visitors are unaware of their time but we do take notice of slow service. They should make some improvements and also be more polite with costumers.
I had ask to move an umbrella of location to cover me from the sun, after a while no one came, so I started trying to move it myself and right after an employee comes sprinting just to warning that I could break it, and that if I did I would be charge for it. Oh ggg, great help, you would think they moved it afterwards but they didn’t.
Unfortunately, I don't recommend staying in this hotel!! Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my partner. As soon as checking in, we received a rude attitude from the front desk receptionist - we felt very unwelcome. The room was ok, a bit old style. The hotel is short on towels, they allow you 4 per couple, per day (2 in the room and 2 on the beach). When coming to the beach and need a towel you need to walk in to the front desk office to request one, which took about 15-20 min to get!! ( felt wired entering a private office, in minimal clothing asking for a towel). They do not allow you to bring your own food or drinks in to the hotel room or when chilling on the beach, only what they offer in they're bar for additional cost!!
The waiters were nice and professional.
Overall, we did not enjoy the stay in this hotel - rude communication from the staff.
Directly on the beach in the heart of Playa Del Carmen. This place is well worth the money, the staff is very diligent and clean. Continental breakfast included. Cute room decorations daily. Great people.
It's quaint, nothing more than you need, nothing less. We will return!
Very god the only thing I don't like that they don't have an elevator and they don't have people to take your luggage up to your room
