I cannot say enough nice things about this special little gem in Playa del Carmen. First, the hotel staff (specifically Brito & Luis) go out of their way to help you with anything and everything. Aside from making your stay more enjoyable, they were friends to have great conversations with during the trip. The property is quaint, lush with jungle landscape, and decorated with unique vintage pieces. The breakfast every morning was lovely. The street that the hotel sits on is the most charming street in all of Playa del Carmen in my opinion. I will be coming back and certainly staying at Hotel La Semilla again. Thank you for everything!!
I liked it. I was looking for something different and this place fits the local area. The restaurants around it are wonderful. The Trujillo just down the street is wondful Alex I'd the bar manager and will treat you like family. Excellent food, service and drinks. Cannot wait to go back!!
Lovely hotel is a quiet neighborhood. Great breakfast and snacks / beer available throughout the day along with coffee or tea. Filtered water in the room.
Great reception. Very friendly and helpful. The owner is nice too. He came to chat to me on my last day.
Location is good for a public beach. It's a bit of a walk to the ADO station but $50 peso in a taxi will get you there too.
Lots of places to eat / drink around as well. 5th Ave in just one block away if you want to explore it.
Perhaps my only complaint, as others have mentioned, is some hand soap in the bathroom would be great as there is only shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
They have a really nice restaurant where you can see a piece of jungle. The rooms are cute, they go for vintage, warm and cozy environment. Great location. Some hand soap and hand lotion would be really appreciated in the bathrooms. Fans are kind of loud because of the material (maintenance maybe?).
Super cute B&B with lots of charm. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!
