Mrs Charlene at the front desk is absolutely amazing!! She is a dedicated lady who strives to make your vacation stay with Wild Bear Inn as easy, convenient and comfortable as possible! We arrived early due to a sudden family getaway and couldn’t find anything nice and accommodating and affordable for our family until we found her at Wild Bear Inn!!! This hotel is clean, comfortable and inexpensive! We are so pleased with our choice to stay the week at Wild Bear Inn!!! I highly recommend the hotel for a family getaway!!! This is a very clean hotel. It is very charming in an old school way. The rooms are very well maintained and the beds are very comfortable. My husband and I stayed over the weekend for a little short get away and loved it. The Tavern on site have wonderful German inspired foods and great adult beverage selection. The only complaint is that the front desk should be better at placing couples with no children in rooms that maybe aren't sandwiched between two rooms filled with screaming children. Other than that, We will visit again.
The rooms were very clean, and nice. The location was great as it's right on the main strip in Pigeon Forge! My boyfriend and I absoutely loved the hotel. The restaurant, (Wild Bear Tavern) on the other hand, was a 0/10. We were served a cold/not so tasty breakfast by a *very* bad waitress. But, you do get free all you can eat pancakes.
I booked and needed to adjust my reservations. I also had some questions. Dialed multiple numbers and could NEVER GET A HOLD OF ANYONE. I called the number in my confirmation email, the one on the website, the one on google maps, and the one on another booking site. Not once did anyone answer. The kine also disconnected after ringing multiple times. I canceled because this became such a headache. Customer service is a big fat zero.
We booked through booking.com months in advance. We paid for 2 bedrooms got there and they only had one tried to get another room lady said they only had 1 room my aunt stays calm and never gets upset came out and was very upset with the ladies attitude she didn't explain this till after my aunt paid for the one room the lady was rude not trying to help us at all we asked for our money back 469 and said they could refund it booking would have too but that's not including the 1something my aunt paid. she said no rooms available but showing rooms open REALLY it was so out dated the lobby spelt like dog pee they put slaps of wood up on the doors to make them look like a lot cabin type feel the lady in front of us had issues with her room too and had no room she needed ..room that she had booked dogs pee almost at the doors of proles rooms their staff would walk around with mask then pull them down exposing their nose and one down to his chin
