River Bend inn Was just an average/affordable/convenient location to sleep while visiting pigeon forge, I honestly would not have stayed here if I would’ve known about the construction going on and there’s no free breakfast as advertised on their website. The view isn’t that great, there’s a big white old abandoned house (huge eye sore when sitting on little balcony (those could also use some fresh paint). All in all with all the options out here there’s way better. Choose wisely.
No coffee or cream no sugar. Not good . Being run by foreigners You need to learn our ways in the US.
I had called previously to our arrival and asked for the check in time. We were told 1 pm and arrived around that time to get there and find construction going on. The failed to mention that the previous times I had called and were told that now we couldn't check in till 3pm and was slightly surprised. Once it was our check In time we went to the front desk where the lady couldn't tell us how to get to our room correctly, and had us going in circles for 20 minutes. The rooms were clean. I would stay here again, just wish the staff was more upfront about things.
My husband and I stayed here in November. We asked for a room on a higher floor facing the river, and the staff made that happen for us. We were very appreciative! Check-in was quick/easy & the front desk associate was very friendly. ( I can't remember her name ) As for the room, it was great for us! Spacious and even had a pull out sofa. It is very close to all shopping/dining. We went to the Sunliner Diner that is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. We enjoyed it so much that we are planning on staying another night this coming Sunday!
For starters the room was ok at first glimpse but if you laid on bed you could see leftover trash under dresser. Then the heating unit blew cool air even when set on heat. The refrigerator didn't get cold and the microwave didn't heat no matter how high you set it your food would remain cold. Thank goodness we spent majority of our time out of the room will not stay there again
